Week 12

How far along? 12 weeks 6 days

Total weight gain/loss: By what the drs scales say, I've gained 1 lb.  by my scales I see 10.  It's making me feel bad when people keep asking me how much I've gained, I answer and the looks on people's face makes me want to hide in a deep hole :(

How big is baby? Baby is the size of a plum.  2.1 inches long and .49 ounces.  Now he or she has pretty much all parts, baby's main job is to keep on growing.
  • Most of baby's critical systems are fully formed!
  • Baby's about to enter the growth and maturation state, in which the organs and tissues will grow and develop rapidly.
  • Baby's now developing reflexes - if you poke baby's body, baby will likely move.
  • Baby's opening and closing fingers and curling toes too.
  • The brain is developing fast.

Maternity Clothes? I got Maternity clothes for Christmas.... so I may start wearing them partially because I have them... partially because some of my clothes aren't fitting right.....

Stretch Marks? I haven't seen any yet....

Best moment this week? Other than it was a bit of a scary reason, we got to hear the babies heart beat again and got to see the baby too.



Movement? I'm  not feeling it... but you can sure see it on the screen.

Food Cravings/Aversions? Steaks.  Come on baby... like steaks!  And last night was a pork tenderloin hubby made.  While it was cooking and then sitting in front of me just about did me in.  Sad day and I felt horrible because I couldn't eat either one.  Hubby made both :(.

What I miss: My clothes fitting.  Actually having a lot of clothes that fit.

What I'm looking forward to: Not looking like I have a beer belly :(

Nausea/Vomiting? Still stuck with the nauseousness.

Labor signs? Oh good heavens no.

Gender? Don't know but I can tell you we're finding out.

Belly Button in or out? still in...

Wedding rings on or off? On.

Sleep? um... naps are great.

Weekly Wisdom: Don't every overdo it.  If you start feeling like you are, rest... sit.  Even if it makes you feel lazy, don't over do it.  Oy!

Due Date: Thursday June, 26, 2014.  They're using this as the due date again.

  2. Don't worry, very soon you'll be completely into mat. clothes and feeling SO much better! Don't wait to wear them...just make sure you are comfortable, that's what matters! xo
