2 Years Month 2 & 3

I absolutely love being able to look back at these posts, but these last couple months have gotten away from me... so here's catch up and moving on!
  • Mainly wearing 2T but can fit in some 18mo and 3T clothes.
  • Absolutely LOVES to swim. Pretty sure you could do this all day every day.
  • This summer you started jumping off the diving board. I guess I see swim lessons in your near future!
  • Shoe size is a 7-8.
  • I'm pretty sure your favorite store is Walmart. It's such a funny running joke.
  • You're always complaining about your knee hurting, but I think it's because then you get to say you fell at the Walmart.
  • You talk up a storm. Mommy understands you most times, but not always. Other people understand you fairly well.
  • We moved.
  • You love to ride horses.
  • You love tractor rides.
  • You're now saying "I love you too," instead of just "I too."
  • You actually say I love you too when you're starting the I love you's.
  • You've started looking at yourself in the mirror and loving it. You even call yourself pretty (which you ARE!!!!)
  • If you see a camera pointed, even if it isn't at you, you stop and pose. Makes it hard sometimes to get candid shots of you :).
  • This whole potty training thing has me stumped.
  • You usually go to sleep around 9-11 and wake up between 7 and 9.
  • You refuse to take naps.
  • If you take a nap, then sometimes you don't want to go to bed.
  • If you take a nap, it's usually an hour or so.
  • You love your new ba. That's a drinking cup that we called a new ba to get you off drinking out of a bottle. It worked and you still call it a new ba.
  • You are extremely social and chatty to people unless someone asks you to be.
  • You have manners like crazy, you say, "Yes, pease," "Thank you," "Pease," etc.
  • Lately you've been having terrible 2 tantrums. Oh my goodness! You had your first one at a restaurant just the other day. I left almost in tears because of your breakdown and the fact you wanted to use my arm as a napkin so I had food all over me.
  • You love helping do chores and you're responsibility is to feed Papa's fish.
  • You prefer to do chores with Papa but you'll go with other people.

  1. They do grow quickly. Here is a song by my favorite band growing up. The Kingston Trio, called Turn Around.

    It says it quite nicely.
Be safe and God bless you all.
