Not Yo Mamma’s Burgers – Five Guys Burgers {Restaurant Review}

So last weekend we went to Rogers, AR.  My mom is getting ready for a trip to China (no she’s not excited) and she wanted to go shopping.

We went to the Promenade Blvd shopping plaza and it became lunchtime.  We started searching around for places to eat when we decided upon Five Guys Burgers.  Hubby and I neither one had ever had Five Guys Burgers and my mom always raves about them.

When you walk in, you place your order.  Then you go get your drinks while they prepare your food.  Then you pick it up and go eat.

Inside the dining room was full and it was a nice 67 degrees outside so we decided to eat lunch outside on the patio.  The only problem with the weather is it was Windy!

When you place your order they do it in a numbered sequence.  All burgers come with choice of toppings.  Then they put numbers on the burger packages so you can see which one is yours.

While you’re waiting for food, they give you peanuts to snack on.

Hello YUM!

We actually got a large order of fries to share between us.  They tasted like they had been real potato fries at one point.

Mom got just a cheeseburger with mustard and pickle.

Hubby went for the Bacon Cheeseburger with Mayo, Lettuce, Pickle, Ketchup, Mustard, Sauteed Onions, Mushrooms, Jalapenos.

and I went for the Bacon Cheeseburger with Mayo, Lettuce, Sauteed Onions.  OMG was this one of the absolute best burgers I’ve ever eaten in my life.  No wonder they are so popular.  I could have eaten a second one other than they were huge and I was stuffed.  But yes, IMO, they were that good!

My “professional” opinion for whatever it is worth, if you’ve never eaten at one and you get the chance… do it and never look back!
